Shield AI is seeking a Chief of Staff to support functional strategy and execution for a senior executive. In this role, you will serve as a strategic thought partner and operational leader, translating business strategy into execution while improving organizational effectiveness across the company.
You will drive alignment across cross-functional teams, establish operating rhythms, coordinate strategic initiatives, and enable leaders to make faster, better-informed decisions. Operating at the intersection of strategy, business operations, communications, and program execution, you will partner closely with leaders across Finance, Engineering, Product, Operations, People, Legal, Security, IT, Facilities, and other business functions to deliver organizational priorities and drive business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating executive strategy into actionable plans and coordinating cross-functional execution
- Establishing cadences and operating rhythms to improve organizational alignment
- Managing strategic initiatives and ensuring accountability for outcomes
- Facilitating communication and decision-making across multiple business functions
- Identifying organizational bottlenecks and recommending improvements
- Supporting the executive with analysis, insights, and recommendations
- Building relationships and influencing without direct authority
This role requires exceptional strategic thinking, operational excellence, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to influence across the organization. You will need to balance multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and thrive in ambiguity. Experience in defense, aerospace, or complex organizations is valuable.
