Revolut is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations and strategy for its Philippines market. The role reports to the CEO and is responsible for managing all aspects of finance including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax compliance, and regulatory affairs as Revolut expands its banking services in the region.
Key responsibilities include: leading accounting and regulatory reporting; overseeing treasury and balance sheet management; providing financial analysis and operational insights to support rapid expansion; advising leadership on financial performance and risks; implementing process improvements for reporting efficiency; driving financial performance improvements; managing taxation and regulatory compliance; serving as the point of contact for regulatory inquiries; performing risk management and investment oversight; developing investment strategies considering liquidity; controlling fundraising and capital structure decisions; ensuring appropriate cash flow; managing external audits; and overseeing the Philippines treasury function.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of financial leadership experience in banking, with deep expertise in bank balance sheets, regulatory ratios, securities accounting, and hedge accounting. Required qualifications include FP&A and forecasting expertise, ability to build PnL and balance sheet models from scratch, Chartered Accountant designation (or equivalent), strong regulatory knowledge specific to the Philippines, and experience recruiting and leading senior finance teams. Background in accounting, treasury/risk, or investment banking is essential. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication and project management skills, ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Startup experience or demonstrated agility in rapidly-growing environments is a plus.
