BeQuick is an OSS/BSS (Operations Support System/Business Support System) platform serving mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) globally. Founded in 2002 and now part of the Banyan Software portfolio, BeQuick handles the operational core of wireless carriers: subscriber lifecycle management, rating and billing, provisioning and activation, payments and dunning, taxation and regulatory compliance, customer care workflows, retail and dealer channels, and margin reporting. The platform serves roughly 30 active MVNO clients, including prepaid and postpaid operators, Lifeline providers, faith-based and affinity brands, and enterprise IoT plays. The product suite includes Fusion (core OSS/BSS), Connect (converged billing for ISPs and WISPs), Orbit (subscriber and dealer portals), Echo (multi-tenant IVR), and Vector. As CEO, you will own the entire business: strategy, product direction, go-to-market, team leadership, and P&L. You report to a Banyan Operating Partner with full operational authority over day-to-day execution. The team is approximately 15 people, fully remote, and unusually senior for its size. BeQuick has been an early and aggressive adopter of agentic AI in engineering, support, and commercial work. Your mandate includes: (1) Growing recurring revenue in a finite market where each new logo represents competitive displacement or carrier launch support; (2) Protecting retention and pricing power, as revenue is concentrated in a handful of large accounts—managing concentration by defending relationships and widening the base is core to the role; (3) Pushing the product forward on an AI-first thesis, leveraging transaction, usage, and margin data for millions of subscriber-months to deliver wholesale margin intelligence, churn prediction, and automated care; (4) Expanding into adjacent markets such as converged billing for ISPs and WISPs and other subscriber-billing segments sharing the same operational spine; (5) Owning the carrier and regulatory surface, including carrier partnership diligence, enterprise security questionnaires, and compliance posture. BeQuick operates as a switching-cost business—customers do not casually replace the system that bills their subscribers. That durability comes with an obligation: the platform must keep pace with carrier requirements, regulatory change, and operator expectations. Banyan Software is a permanent-capital acquirer and operator of software businesses serving specialized industries. Founded in 2016, Banyan operates more than 120 portfolio companies across North and South America, Europe, and APAC, and has appeared on the Inc. 5000 list for six consecutive years. Banyan's approach is buy-grow-and-hold-for-life with no resale pressure, providing autonomy with backing, a peer network of portfolio company CEOs, and preservation of brand, identity, and culture. REQUIREMENTS Required: - Executive experience (CEO, COO, CRO, CPO, GM, or SVP-level) at an MVNO, MVNE, or MVNA, or at a company selling directly into them - Direct P&L ownership with accountability for growth, net revenue retention, and margin - Working fluency in wireless operations: wholesale carrier economics, activation and provisioning, rating and mediation, number porting, eSIM and BYOD, device financing, dealer and retail channels - Practical command of the regulatory environment: CPNI and Section 222, CALEA, STIR/SHAKEN, USF and state regulatory fees, 10DLC, and the post-ACP Lifeline landscape - Technical literacy sufficient to make credible build-versus-buy calls and to be a real counterpart to an engineering leader - Demonstrated use of AI in a product, in a business, or both, with a clear point of view on where it creates durable value versus where it is theater - Track record leading a small, senior, fully remote team Strongly Preferred: - Has led a company or business unit through a repositioning, pricing redesign, or platform transition before the market forced it - Experience with B2B SaaS in a concentrated-customer environment, including how to grow out of concentration rather than just survive it - Hands-on carrier relationship management with T-Mobile, Verizon, or AT&T wholesale organizations - Familiarity with telecom tax and compliance engines, and with the operational reality of migrating between them Nice to Have: - ISP, WISP, or fixed wireless billing exposure - M&A experience, either as an acquirer of small software assets or as an operator inside an acquired company
