Modulr is seeking a CDD Onboarding Operations Team Lead based in Mumbai to support the company's rapid growth in embedded payments across the UK and Europe. This role sits within the financial crime and compliance operations function, managing a team responsible for Customer Due Diligence (CDD) onboarding processes.
As Team Lead, you will oversee the CDD onboarding operations, ensuring robust, compliant, and efficient financial crime processes while supporting Modulr's scaling ambitions. You will manage a geographically distributed team collaborating across UK and European entities, working in an office-first environment in Mumbai.
Modulr is the fastest-growing payments business in the UK and Europe, providing an industry-leading API platform that enables businesses to automate payments across multiple schemes and channels. The company serves hundreds of clients across verticals including Travel, Lending, Wage Advance, and Investment & Wealth, with integrations into major accounting and payroll platforms like Sage, Xero, and IRIS.
You will be responsible for leading operational excellence in CDD processes, managing team performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the efficiency standards required in a high-growth fintech environment.
