Salary: USD 128,000 - 178,000 / annual

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Category Manager will be a critical member of a growing Procurement Team, partnering with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver a best-in-class procurement experience. Key responsibilities include: - Managing end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management - Developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive cost savings and cost avoidance while optimizing vendor performance - Collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational goals and serving as the primary liaison between stakeholders and vendors - Leading complex contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure alignment with strategic objectives - Facilitating RFX processes to ensure transparency and competitiveness in vendor selection - Staying informed on industry trends and technological advancements, especially in AI, to identify new vendor opportunities and drive innovation - Creating and presenting reports with actionable insights to guide decision-making The role is based in Denver, CO or San Francisco, CA, with an expectation to work from the office 3+ days per week. Requirements: - 7+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing-related work experience with strong knowledge across the entire lifecycle of strategic sourcing and corporate procurement activities, including sourcing strategies, RFX development and analysis, vendor selection, and contract negotiations - Proven experience influencing strategy, driving decision-making, and achieving measurable results - Solid communication, strategic thinking, and presentation skills with ability to work effectively in cross-functional, fast-paced environments - Strong analytical, judgment, and negotiation skills - Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and manage cross-functional teams - A-player mindset with strong bias for action: raising the bar, moving with urgency, staying resilient through ambiguity, and taking ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes
