Seven Starling is a virtual provider of women's behavioral health services specializing in perinatal mood disorders like postpartum depression and anxiety. As a Care Advocate on the Care Support team, you will be the primary point of contact for patients and providers, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs with professionalism and empathy. Your responsibilities include: • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and providers, addressing questions, concerns, and needs in a professional and empathetic manner • Assist with scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments to maximize engagement and success, managing conflicts and optimizing schedules • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring data is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations • Assist in resolving patient or provider issues or complaints, escalating complex concerns to appropriate team members or supervisors • Serve as the "voice of the patient," monitoring data and trends from support work and surfacing learnings to relevant teams • Provide support to patients and providers navigating the healthcare system, including explaining procedures, insurance processes, and available resources • Coordinate care activities, including follow-up appointments, outside referrals, and coordination with other healthcare providers • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices and organizational changes • Propose updates to key processes as needed to maintain efficiency You will excel in this role if you have strong attention to detail, love staying organized, enjoy learning new systems and tools, have experience in high-volume settings, and are skilled at developing and implementing scalable processes. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in patient support, customer service, or healthcare-related role • Experience in a remote work environment • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, especially in high-volume settings; strong attention to detail • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism • Proficiency in standard office applications (e.g., Google Suite) • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proactive approach to patient support • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in healthcare administration or related field is a plus
