Boston Scientific Neuromodulation is seeking a Capital Sales Representative to drive revenue growth in the Northeast region, selling radiofrequency ablation and spinal cord stimulation solutions to hospitals, surgery centers, and private clinics specializing in interventional pain management and neurosurgery.
You will be responsible for developing new business in an assigned geographical territory covering multiple states including Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and DC. Your core responsibilities include: (1) Driving sales revenue to achieve territory priorities through strategic selling of capital radiofrequency products; (2) Demonstrating advanced competitive knowledge and collaborating with Regional Business Directors, Territory Managers, and Clinical Specialists to execute sales strategy; (3) Building strong relationships with clinicians, nurses, technicians, and patients to influence product adoption and usage; (4) Translating technical and clinical information to build customer and patient loyalty; (5) Providing feedback to Clinical, Marketing, Quality, and R&D teams; (6) Collaborating with Area Vice Presidents, Health Economics & Reimbursement, and National Accounts teams to increase overall sales team success.
This is a field-based position requiring travel throughout your territory. You will maintain pricing discipline, anticipate problems, and establish procedures for meeting sales goals. The role emphasizes both individual achievement and team collaboration, with expectations to provide and receive coaching and feedback to ensure success.
Required: Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years' experience in capital equipment, medical device, or B2B sales. Preferred: Medical device sales experience, operating room familiarity, hospital/physician office support knowledge, and experience selling both capital equipment and disposable radiofrequency products in pain management and neurosurgery settings.
Compensation: $115,000 base salary plus variable compensation through Sales Incentive Compensation Plan with annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives, plus comprehensive benefits.
