The Capital Markets Manager will support the execution, planning, and economics of Ascend's transactions, playing a central role in managing day-to-day operations of securitizations and other funding facilities. This role combines strong quantitative modeling skills with hands-on data management to keep the portfolio running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing portfolio reporting and running diagnostics on securitizations and funding facilities
- Supporting the design and execution of new funding facilities
- Controlling and maintaining accurate portfolio data and reporting processes
- Collaborating cross-functionally with finance, operations, and business development teams
- Building and maintaining financial models for transaction analysis and monitoring
- Ensuring compliance with rating agency requirements and covenant monitoring
- Supporting investor reporting and communications
- Analyzing transaction economics and identifying optimization opportunities
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and modeling skills, attention to detail, experience with structured finance or capital markets operations, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. This is a hands-on role that requires both quantitative rigor and practical execution capability.
