Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Mission Operations Manager to lead the deployment and operational success of advanced air defense systems. This role sits at the intersection of customer needs, engineering innovation, and field operations within Anduril's rapidly scaling Air Defense business line. You will orchestrate the planning and deployment of Anduril's flagship hardware and software products in support of customer missions. Working closely with engineering, logistics, and technical operations teams, you'll manage field deployments, train end users, monitor product performance, and serve as the voice of the customer back to product teams. You'll be obsessed with understanding how customers interact with our systems and drive continuous improvement based on real-world feedback. Relationship management is central to this role. You'll build trust with military customers, industry partners, end users, and internal teams through effective communication, responsiveness, and follow-through. You'll develop a deep understanding of customer priorities and mission challenges, then represent those needs as you collaborate with engineers to shape products that solve critical national security challenges. This is a highly collaborative role requiring engagement across nearly every Anduril function—business development, engineering, product, logistics, finance, legal, contracting, and technical operations. You'll ensure all parties are aligned and informed, becoming well-versed in what it takes to deliver complex defense systems to the field. Anduril values a mission-first mindset, ownership mentality, technical aptitude, and structured problem-solving. You'll have significant autonomy to assume responsibility and exercise judgment. The ideal candidate combines intellectual curiosity about advanced technologies (machine learning, autonomy, sensor fusion, networking), comfort with technical concepts, and the ability to translate them for mission context. You should be a natural owner who balances healthy skepticism with bias toward action, comfortable equally in proposal development, customer pitches, engineering collaboration, and field operations.
