Salary: USD 99,000 - 130,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for real-time command and control. You will join the rapidly growing team in Quincy as a Buyer/Planner, managing the entire value chain from raw materials to finished goods for next-generation AUVs. This role is critical to ensuring on-time delivery of materials to internal assembly lines and finished products to customers. Key responsibilities include: - Owning planning and on-time delivery of raw materials to assembly lines and finished goods to customers - Developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts and plans - Managing day-to-day ordering and inventory for assigned product lines - Identifying and resolving supply issues through cross-functional collaboration - Generating and analyzing data to identify trends and support decision-making - Developing and maintaining processes within MRP systems and master data - Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and make/buy decisions - Issuing purchase orders for production and R&D initiatives while managing supplier relationships - Participating in S&OP processes and supporting strategic initiatives - Developing data reporting structures and tools to monitor Demand Planning KPIs - Understanding product BOMs to enable quick decision-making and effective discussion of sales opportunities - Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for cost savings, quality, and on-time delivery REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years of significant technical procurement experience in a manufacturing environment - Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills including negotiation and relationship management - Ability to work in cross-functional teams and collaborate across functions and borders - Good understanding and interpretation of design specifications - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills with high discretion in decision-making - Ability to work and excel in fast-paced, dynamic, constantly changing environments - Demonstrated ability to completely own a value chain from start to finish, coordinating among multiple internal and external parties to achieve on-time deliveries under stringent quality standards - Prior knowledge of Oracle or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems - Ability to travel up to 25% - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (mechanical/aerospace/manufacturing, electrical, or computer engineering, supply chain, or business with technical minor/concentration) - Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma principles - Prior knowledge of Blue Yonder or similar Supply Chain Planning systems; experience developing statistical models to predict demand in fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume environments - Knowledge of supply chain planning best practices and data processes (demand planning, inventory management, supply planning, S&OP/S&OE, Integrated Business Planning) - Experience with big data evaluation and analysis techniques; SQL database experience for writing custom queries - Knowledge of leading data reporting applications (Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview)
