Salary: USD 86,000 - 112,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Buyer to join its Procurement team supporting rocket motor systems and other critical programs. This role manages purchase order creation and issuance, maintains supplier relationships, monitors performance on quality and delivery metrics, and resolves supply chain disruptions. You will track and expedite orders to meet production schedules, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams, and maintain procurement records while identifying process improvements.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field, plus 3+ years of supply chain experience including technical procurement. You must be able to read technical drawings and blueprints and be willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL if not already local. Preferred qualifications include strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, Excel proficiency, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities is valued.
