The company integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a unified user experience and operates across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. The Business Segment Lead role is responsible for achieving market leadership within an assigned business segment (defined by client size or industry). This is a transversal leadership position requiring distributed ownership and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include: **Market Intelligence & Strategy**: Build deep expertise on market dynamics and competitive landscape through quantitative analysis (market sizing) and qualitative research (customer pain points). Develop a clear vision for segment leadership and articulate strategies despite complexity and uncertainty. **Value Proposition & Pricing**: Define differentiated product offerings and pricing strategies to establish market leadership in the segment. **Go-to-Market Strategy**: Own both renewal (account management) and expansion (business development) strategies. Innovate on distribution channels, sub-segments, and partner management approaches. **P&L Ownership**: Own segment return on investment and build the business case for internal resource allocation. Make strategic decisions based on market insights. **Product Collaboration**: Work closely with product teams to ensure offerings align with market insights and customer needs. Contribute to product trade-off decisions. **Cross-functional Leadership**: Collaborate with Product, Insurance, Sales, and Marketing teams. Work with peer segment leaders to share best practices and build long-term value alignment. The role focuses on newly launched, high-potential segments where significant growth opportunities exist. **Requirements:** - Minimum 8 years of experience leading a business (product category, business segment, or equivalent) - Full working proficiency in French - Advanced level English proficiency - Exceptional ability to establish transversal influence across functions - Strong analytical skills to build 360-degree market views using data - Business acumen combined with deep product thinking - Experience working with senior leadership - Generalist, self-starter mindset (not a single-industry specialist) with ability to adapt quickly - Willingness to relocate to or current residence in Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Brussels, Madrid, or Barcelona - Salary range: E-F level per Alan's salary equity framework
