The company integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a unified user experience and operates across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. The Business Segment Lead role is responsible for achieving market leadership within an assigned business segment. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership position requiring transversal influence across Product, Insurance, Sales, and Marketing teams. You will collaborate with peer segment leaders to share best practices and align on long-term value creation. Key responsibilities include: - Market Intelligence: Build deep expertise on market dynamics, competitive landscape, customer pain points, and segment sizing through both quantitative and qualitative analysis. - Value Proposition & Pricing: Define differentiated product offerings and pricing strategies to establish market leadership in your segment. - Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute renewal (account management) and expansion (business development) strategies, including distribution channels, sub-segment focus, and partner management. - P&L Ownership & Resource Allocation: Own segment profitability and build the business case for internal resource allocation based on ROI analysis. - Product Collaboration: Partner with product teams to ensure offerings are informed by market insights and competitive positioning. The role focuses on new, high-potential segments where significant growth opportunities exist and foundational work is required. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 8 years of experience leading a business (product category, business segment, or equivalent) - Full working proficiency in French - Advanced level English proficiency - Exceptional ability to establish transversal influence across functions - Strong data analysis skills to build comprehensive market views - Business acumen combined with product-level thinking - Ability to articulate clear strategies amid complexity and uncertainty - Prior experience working with senior leadership - Generalist, self-starter mindset (not specialist in single industry); adaptable and willing to support team members in the field - Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Brussels, Madrid, or Barcelona
