At Novartis (DTX Pharma division), you will serve as a strategic finance business partner, providing insightful analysis, forecasting expertise, and performance management support to leadership teams. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining and challenging key performance indicators aligned with strategic objectives, monitoring business performance to identify risks and opportunities, and delivering timely, accurate analysis for monthly business reviews and strategic planning. You will ensure data integrity across budgeting and forecasting cycles, develop executive presentations that combine quantitative rigor with compelling storytelling, and partner with business leaders on performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will leverage financial and operational data to challenge assumptions, identify early warning signals, and promote automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and forecasting accuracy. This role requires strong understanding of local macroeconomic dynamics and their impact on business performance, with proven experience managing P&L performance and resource allocation decisions.
Required qualifications include a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 8+ years in business planning, finance business partnering, auditing, or related finance functions. You must demonstrate fluency in both English and Spanish, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to develop executive-level presentations. Advanced analytical capabilities, business acumen, and numerical aptitude are essential, along with comfort in agile, digital environments focused on automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Desirable experience includes implementing AI-enabled solutions or automation initiatives within finance, and proficiency with modern planning and visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Qlik.
