Salary: CAD 55,000 - 65,000 / annual
LEAP is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its Sales Development team in Toronto. You will be responsible for high-volume outbound prospecting to law firms, generating qualified leads, and scheduling meetings for the broader sales team. The role involves building relationships through social media platforms (LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Twitter), achieving weekly and monthly KPIs, and driving team success through consistent effort and competitive drive.
LEAP is the leading provider of legal practice productivity software, part of ATI (a major international LegalTech company), with over 30 years of history. The software is used by more than 100,000 lawyers and staff in small and medium-sized law firms globally. The company operates across Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland, and New Zealand, with over 1,000 employees.
You will work in a fast-growing technology business with a hybrid model: 3 days per week in the modern downtown Toronto office, with flexibility for remote work. The Sales Development team is described as a growing group of high-performing professionals. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to evangelize LEAP's solutions to attorneys and law firms authentically. You'll receive comprehensive training, mentoring, and support to develop product and market knowledge.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary (CAD $55,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience) plus uncapped commission. REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with CRM systems, including Salesforce
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Outlook Calendaring)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
