PocketHealth is a patient-centric healthcare platform enabling hospitals and clinics across North America to share medical imaging records digitally with patients securely and instantly. The company serves over 800 healthcare facilities and 2 million patients, positioning itself as a unified image management solution that places patients at the center of their care journey.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline development for the Enterprise Sales team. Your core responsibilities include reaching out to prospective healthcare organizations via phone, email, and social channels to nurture relationships toward sales meetings. You will prospect into organizations aligned with strategic focus areas, support the sales team before, during, and after meetings to ensure smooth handoffs, and experiment with different outreach methods to develop predictable, repeatable lead generation processes. You'll maintain a professional network by staying current with healthcare industry news and building relationships with key decision-makers.
You bring experience in the health sciences space (education or career background), passion for technology and software innovation, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You're highly comfortable with phone and video communication. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years in a similar B2B enterprise SaaS business development role, hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, and familiarity with social selling tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
You are competitive, confident, and driven with humility. You're a creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, constantly reassessing outreach strategies. Most importantly, you're passionate about PocketHealth's mission—understanding that each hospital adoption represents thousands of patients gaining better care and control over their health data.
The role is fully remote and offers competitive compensation including equity (stock options), comprehensive health and benefits, four weeks paid time off, unlimited wellness days, extended mental health coverage, and 16 weeks parental leave top-up.
