The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is a high-impact position on the front lines of revenue generation, responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities.
In this role, you will:
- Research and identify target accounts aligned with Braze's ideal customer profile
- Develop and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn, and video to generate pipeline
- Conduct discovery conversations with C-suite executives to understand their business goals, customer engagement challenges, and opportunities
- Deliver value-oriented pitches and solution demonstrations to prospects
- Manage your own meetings and coordinate with internal stakeholders (Account Executives, sales engineers) as needed
- Meet outreach KPIs and personal quota targets; the commission plan is uncapped, so earnings continue beyond quota achievement
- Build account strategies collaboratively with Account Executives
- Attend industry events to generate new leads
- Qualify early-stage deals and transform high-quality relationships into new business opportunities
The BDR team is collaborative, communicative, and action-oriented. You'll work in a hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Sydney office, creating a learning environment where the team thrives together.
