Ben is a benefits platform that connects the entire benefits ecosystem to create better outcomes for employers, employees, brokers, and providers. As a Business Development Representative, you will build the pipeline for Ben's enterprise business by identifying, qualifying, and booking meetings with large global employers (1,000+ FTE).
You will be paired with an Account Executive on a named territory and tasked with getting Benefits and Reward leaders to engage. The role involves researching the market using prospecting tools, identifying decision-makers within target accounts (Benefits and Reward leaders, CPOs, CHROs), and executing outbound prospecting campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels. You'll qualify prospects to ensure they're worth your AE's time, book qualified meetings, and provide your AE with comprehensive preparation materials. Success metrics include six SALs (Sales Accepted Leads) and three SQOs (Sales Qualified Opportunities) per month once ramped.
Key responsibilities include managing your sales pipeline and KPIs, iterating on outreach strategy based on conversion data, maintaining clean pipeline data, and learning from both successful and unsuccessful outreach attempts. You'll work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment where you own your territory and drive results.
