Pagaya is an AI-driven fintech company reshaping the financial services ecosystem by providing consumer credit and residential real estate solutions. The company uses machine learning, vast data networks, and sophisticated AI approaches to help partners grow their businesses and serve customers better. Pagaya has offices in New York and Tel Aviv. As a Business Development Associate, you will drive top-of-funnel growth by identifying, mapping, and engaging senior executives (C-Suite, VPs of Lending, Heads of Risk) across financial institutions, personal loan originators, and fintech companies. Your primary goal is to book highly qualified introductory meetings for the Commercial and Partnerships Directors team. Core responsibilities include: • Strategic Prospecting: Research and identify high-value target financial institutions, automotive lenders, and fintech innovators matching Pagaya's ideal client profile. • Multi-Channel Outreach: Execute structured outreach campaigns using cold calling, personalized emails, and professional network sourcing. Build client key decision-maker maps identifying critical contacts and ultimate decision-makers. • Consultative Value Selling: Articulate Pagaya's complex AI capabilities and credit ecosystem benefits to executive decision-makers. Identify the specific problems being solved for each prospect and develop materials for sales leads to leverage. • Lead Qualification: Conduct early discovery calls to evaluate prospects' credit challenges, originations volume, and technical capabilities. • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date data in Salesforce tracking account interactions, objections, and follow-up metrics. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Growth, Partners, and Product Leads teams to convert inbound interest and optimize outbound sales playbooks. Requirements: • 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in FinTech, B2B SaaS, or financial services • Flawless written and verbal communication skills; comfortable holding peer-to-peer conversations with corporate financial executives • AI-fluent with knowledge of consumer credit markets, banking systems, or financial models • Experience with CRM and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, or Salesloft (highly preferred) • Self-motivated builder with resilience and grit; views rejection as data rather than failure; thrives in high-activity, hyper-growth environments • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
