Distro is seeking a Business Consultant to drive new business development and sales for Solvo's staffing and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions. This role combines consultative selling with account management, targeting organizations seeking payroll, HCM, PEO, or BPO services.
You will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business within a designated territory while managing existing client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
• Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales quotas
• Develop and execute short and long-term sales strategies to increase sales volume and profit margins
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, CRM tracking (Salesforce), proposal preparation, and closing
• Prepare executive summaries and presentations that clearly articulate the benefits of staffing and BPO solutions
• Oversee renewal proposals and ensure accuracy and timeliness of service delivery to assigned clients
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive threats, and best practices
• Participate in monthly consulting meetings, provide coaching to team members, and attend training webinars
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with external partners
• Travel frequently domestically and occasionally internationally for client meetings, conferences, and team events
This is a fast-paced, client-facing role requiring strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence key stakeholders. You'll work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure customer success and coordinate service delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education (including non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training)
• At least 2 years of progressive sales experience with payroll, HCM, PEO, or BPO type B2B intangible sales
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Valid, non-restrictive driver's license (required for regular travel to client sites)
• Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally on occasion
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets
• Sound business ethics and high standards of confidentiality
