Vensure Employer Solutions, the largest privately held HR technology and services organization, is seeking a Business Consultant based in Los Angeles. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through networking, channel partnerships, and self-generated leads. This role involves executing aggressive prospecting strategies to gain access to key decision makers and maintaining ownership of the entire sales cycle, including post-sale and implementation processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively generate new business opportunities within your designated territory
- Conduct thorough analysis and planning to tailor products and services to client needs
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor initiatives, and potential competitive threats
- Schedule and conduct regular meetings with clients during the implementation phase
- Develop lead generation strategies and use Salesforce CRM to track activities
- Negotiate pricing and scope of service with prospective clients
- Prepare executive summaries and presentations for clients
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
- Complete accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports
- Participate in monthly consulting meetings and provide training to team members
- Frequent domestic travel required for team meetings, client visits, conferences, and training
- Build and maintain relationships across the organization and with external partners
- Attend webinars and training to stay current on best practices

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant non-traditional degree, certifications, or job training)
- At least two years of sales experience preferred
- Previous experience and proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid, non-restrictive driver's license required due to regular travel to client sites and company locations
- Proactive and highly motivated with strong focus on achieving new business goals
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with ability to influence key stakeholders
- Understanding and consistent execution of sales methodologies and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively, balance multiple clients and tasks, and stay organized
- Ability to define problems, collect and interpret data, and draw valid conclusions
- Professional style and adherence to corporate policies and procedures
