Vensure Employer Solutions, the largest privately held HR technology and service provider, is hiring a Business Consultant in Tampa, Florida. This is an on-site role focused on new business development and sales execution.
You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through networking, channel partnerships, and self-generated leads. The role involves executing aggressive prospecting strategies to access key decision makers, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact through post-sale implementation, and negotiating pricing and service scope with prospective clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively generating new business opportunities within your designated territory
- Conducting thorough analysis and planning to tailor products and services to client needs
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitor initiatives, and best practices
- Scheduling and conducting regular client meetings during implementation phases
- Developing lead generation strategies and using Salesforce CRM to track activities
- Preparing executive summaries and presentations for clients
- Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales quotas
- Completing accurate sales paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports
- Participating in monthly consulting meetings and providing coaching to team members
- Frequent domestic travel to attend team meetings, client visits, industry conferences, and training sessions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships across the organization and with external partners

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant non-traditional degree, certifications, or job training)
- At least 2 years of sales experience preferred
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid, non-restrictive driver's license required (role involves regular travel to client sites)
- Proactive, highly motivated individual with strong focus on achieving new business goals
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills
- Understanding of sales methodologies, strategies, and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
