ICEYE is seeking a Business Applications Specialist to join the Transformations department, reporting to the Head of Transformation. This is a permanent, on-site role based in Helsinki/Espoo, Finland.
The role focuses on process ownership, cross-functional coordination, and system enablement across ICEYE's internal operations. You will map end-to-end internal processes spanning multiple systems (such as employee lifecycle), identify gaps and redundancies, and define target-state process flows with clear, buildable requirements. As the organization scales with new entities, headcount, and tools, you will continuously reassess process health and flag potential breaking points before they occur.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process Ownership & Design: Map internal processes across systems, identify data-consistency risks, define target states, and coordinate with IT and system owners. Continuously monitor process health as the organization scales.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Coordination: Identify and convene relevant stakeholders, drive decision-making, run structured working sessions for alignment, and maintain lightweight records of decisions and open questions.
- System & Automation Enablement: Translate agreed process changes into concrete change requests for involved systems. Identify and execute automation opportunities (manual handoffs, duplicate data entry, spreadsheet workarounds). Maintain working fluency in core internal systems and directly build or coordinate with needed departments.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must haves:
- Experience in business/process analysis, technical program management, or an operations role with direct exposure to HR, CRM, or data systems
- Comfortable with system logic (fields, workflows, basic integration/API concepts) and able to write code to facilitate integrations
- Strong structured thinking: ability to take a messy, multi-owner process and identify where it actually breaks
- Comfortable with ambiguity — there is no existing playbook for this role at ICEYE yet
Nice to haves:
- Prior hands-on exposure to an ATS/HRIS (Ashby, HiBob, or similar) or a CRM (Salesforce)
