Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing remote cybersecurity company that delivers autonomous pentesting and security assessment operations at scale. The company's flagship product, NodeZero, helps organizations proactively identify and fix exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them.
You will build and lead the Business Applications (BizApps) function within IT, a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic direction-setting with close involvement in day-to-day execution. This newly formed team will be responsible for administering company-wide IT-deployed applications, building and maintaining integrations through Workato (IPaaS) and custom AWS middleware, and designing AI agents across multiple platforms (Glean, Claude, Gemini, AWS Bedrock) to automate work across GTM, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and other departments.
Key responsibilities include: leading and growing the BizApps team; setting priorities and operating rhythms; owning application administration, configuration, and lifecycle management for IT-owned platforms like Jira; building governance around permissions, roles, licensing, and access; architecting and maintaining the Workato instance; evaluating integration requests against a clear decision framework (native first, Workato second, custom AWS only when necessary); designing and deploying AI agents to solve specific business problems; managing third-party contractors for custom builds; establishing guardrails and access controls for agent deployments; maintaining an accurate inventory of applications, integrations, and agents; partnering with IT Engineering, Security, and Legal/Compliance on security and regulatory alignment; and creating metrics and dashboards to communicate BizApps performance to leadership.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical breadth across application administration, integration architecture, and AI enablement, with the ability to partner effectively across every department in a fast-growing organization. You'll balance day-to-day requests and escalations with longer-term platform improvements, stepping in on complex builds and high-priority cross-functional requests.
