SoFi is seeking a Brokerage Operations Analyst to own critical workstreams across the Composer by SoFi brokerage platform. This role is central to operating, scaling, and evolving the Composer business, which serves millions of members through a mobile-first financial services platform.
You will own and support critical Composer business operations, including trading, brokerage servicing, account operations, and complex operational escalations. You'll serve as a subject matter expert across Composer's operating model, including key brokerage workflows, systems, dependencies, and controls.
Key responsibilities include designing and continuously improving end-to-end member journeys across Composer experiences, identifying friction points, and ensuring scalable servicing solutions. You'll serve as an escalation point for complex or high-impact member issues, driving resolution and translating learnings into broader process improvements.
You will partner across the business to identify operational pain points, define business requirements, and implement technology-enabled solutions and automation. You'll support trading operations and related workflows, including trade lifecycle management, exception handling, reconciliations, corporate actions, margin and risk events.
Additional responsibilities include analyzing operational data and trends to identify emerging issues, control gaps, capacity constraints, and opportunities for improvement. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation, coordinating stakeholders and driving execution. You'll partner with business leadership to operationalize new products, features, and strategic initiatives, including process design, controls, readiness, and post-launch monitoring.
You'll develop and maintain policies, procedures, controls, and business continuity plans for critical Composer activities, ensuring operational processes align with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk-management standards. You'll proactively identify business risks and opportunities and provide clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
