Allica Bank is the UK's fastest-growing fintech firm, focused on serving established SMEs underserved by traditional banks and modern fintech providers. As a Broker Relationship Manager, you will build and manage a portfolio of commercial finance introducers (brokers), qualifying and progressing Invoice Finance opportunities from initial enquiry through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map and prioritize your portfolio of commercial finance introducers, understanding their current and potential Invoice Finance volume
- Manage day-to-day relationships with introducers, building credibility with highest-priority firms
- Master Allica's Invoice Finance product, criteria, and onboarding process to review and progress applications confidently
- Collaborate with Credit and Operations teams to understand the application lifecycle from enquiry to completion
- Review, encourage, manage, and progress Invoice Finance applications from introducers
- Qualify opportunities and ensure correct alignment with introducer and product route
- Act as the primary point of contact for onboarded introducers, managing complex enquiries and providing best-in-class service
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, attend events and webinars, and provide introducers with knowledge packs, marketing support, and joint initiatives
- Maintain CRM discipline, tracking portfolio progress and supporting lending applications in line with Allica's Credit Policy and risk appetite
Requirements:
- Proven track record in B2B sales and account management, having managed multiple stakeholders and led accounts through change management
- Comprehensive understanding of SMEs and the role of trusted advisors and professional service firms, particularly commercial finance and Invoice Finance brokers
- Excellent interpersonal skills with evidence of sales and account management outperformance through earning partner, customer, and colleague trust
- Proven track record delivering excellent customer experience and generating new revenue opportunities while considering risk, reputation, and experience
- Experience working within Invoice Finance industry or commercial finance
- Excellent communication and presenting skills for in-person/online meetings, webinars, and events
- Portfolio management, CRM management, and reporting skills
