Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a strategic panel of key brokers, identifying and maximizing growth opportunities
- Onboarding new broker partners at pace and optimizing their commercial potential
- Developing data-driven account growth strategies to drive sustained performance and strong conversion/retention
- Proactively engaging brokers to promote Flock's appetite and proposition as the company expands into new sectors
- Collaborating across internal teams to deliver shared growth objectives
- Using AI daily—from broker research and meeting preparation to pipeline analysis—to focus your time on high-value relationships rather than administrative tasks
- Maintaining strong broker advocacy by being visible, responsive, and passionate about Flock's product and mission
You'll bring a minimum of 5 years of experience managing broker relationships in the insurance sector with a strong industry reputation. You'll have a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, driving business growth, and collaborating cross-functionally. An existing network of broker contacts is essential for rapid integration and immediate impact. You'll possess exceptional understanding of the commercial broker marketplace, competitor carriers, and broker business models, and you'll be comfortable delivering a consultative sales process.
Preferred experience includes building broker networks in Commercial Motor Fleet settings, active broker distribution backgrounds, and success launching new technologies and products to brokers.
The role is hybrid (minimum 3 days/week in Central London office near Moorgate/Liverpool Street), though client and broker site visits can substitute for office days. Benefits include 25 days holiday, Share Incentive Plan, workplace pension, private medical insurance, enhanced parental leave, and £1,000 annually for professional qualifications.
