Flock is an AI-first insurtech company that uses telematics and real-time data to help fleet customers prevent crashes and reduce road accidents. Recently acquired by Admiral (May 2026), Flock combines startup agility with the backing of the UK's leading motor insurer. As Broker Development Manager, you'll lead a panel of key strategic broker partners in the commercial motor fleet insurance space, driving mutual growth and long-term success. Your primary responsibilities include managing broker relationships, delivering high volumes of submissions to support ambitious growth targets, and onboarding new partners while maximizing their commercial potential. You'll act as Flock's primary face to your broker panel, proactively engaging them on the market-leading benefits of Flock's connected fleet proposition—emphasizing risk reduction, cost improvement, and life-saving capabilities. You'll develop data-driven account growth strategies, support day-to-day trading activity, and help brokers win and retain business. Collaboration across internal teams is essential to deliver shared growth objectives. A key differentiator: you'll use AI throughout your day—from broker research and meeting preparation to pipeline analysis—freeing your time for high-value relationship conversations. You'll maintain strong broker advocacy by being visible, responsive, and passionate about Flock's product and mission. You bring a minimum of 5 years managing broker relationships in insurance, with an existing network of broker contacts enabling rapid integration. You have a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, deep understanding of the commercial broker marketplace, competitor carriers, and broker business models. You're comfortable with consultative selling, can deliver a compelling value proposition aligned to broker needs, and embrace AI as a daily work tool. Preferred experience includes building broker networks in Commercial Motor Fleet settings and successfully distributing new technologies to brokers. The role is hybrid (minimum 3 days/week in Central London office near Moorgate/Liverpool Street), though client and broker visits can substitute for office days. Flock offers 25 days holiday, Share Incentive Plan, workplace pension, private medical insurance (dental, optical, mental health), salary sacrifice schemes, enhanced parental leave, £1,000 for professional qualifications, and £500 annual L&D budget plus 3 paid L&D days.
