Snowflake is seeking a Brand Motion Graphics Designer to join its creative team in Menlo Park. This role focuses on designing and producing engaging motion graphics across a diverse range of projects including promotional videos, event stage graphics, social media content, product demonstrations, and visual effects.
Key responsibilities include creating motion graphics assets, developing and maintaining Premiere templates (MOGRTs) to streamline production, managing day-to-day asset production within timelines and brand guidelines, and partnering with video editors to integrate motion design into live-action footage. You'll utilize Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere) to edit and assemble compelling assets, integrate generative AI workflows to accelerate conceptual exploration, and support motion projects with sound design including music, sound effects, and voiceovers under senior guidance.
Additional responsibilities include exploring new motion formats such as web experiences and data visualizations, demonstrating proficiency in 3D software like Cinema 4D or Blender, performing color grading and finishing work, and maintaining a library of graphic elements and templates. You'll collaborate with the Brand & Creative team and cross-functional partners to develop visual narratives, incorporate feedback from senior designers, and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of motion graphics design, video editing, and sound editing experience with a strong portfolio. Required skills include proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects and Premiere), understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, visual rhythm), ability to incorporate video and audio elements, strong visual storytelling abilities, and a technically oriented, forward-thinking mindset with curiosity about AI-assisted tools. Preferred qualifications include expertise in 3D graphics software and strong communication skills.
