REBEL is a B Corporation-backed returns recommerce marketplace that has transformed retail's $1 trillion returns problem into a sustainable model. The company partners with over 2,500 brands and offers shoppers discounts up to 70% off on open-box products while diverting millions of pounds of returns from landfills annually. The Brand & Social Media Manager owns REBEL's day-to-day organic social presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with no agency layer—you report directly to the CEO and leadership on brand strategy, then execute the full content lifecycle: planning, creation, publishing, and iteration. Key responsibilities include: **Social Channels & Content:** Build and manage the content calendar; plan, shoot, edit, write, and publish posts and videos. Create reactive content against trends and cultural moments with speed. Maintain consistent posting cadence while testing and iterating on formats, hooks, and story angles. Kill what isn't working. **Community Management:** Own comments, DMs, and engagement across platforms. Surface community feedback to the team and turn customers and fans into repeat advocates. **Creator Coordination:** Source and manage creators; brief them for on-brand, native-feeling content. Track performance and identify standout partners. **Reporting & Strategy:** Track organic reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth. Bring data-driven recommendations, not just numbers. Support brand voice consistency, earned media amplification, partnerships, events, and cross-functional campaign work. The role requires someone with real taste, fast hands, and strong instincts for what resonates on the internet. You'll work directly with leadership to shape REBEL's voice and then own turning strategy into a steady stream of content.
