As Brand Manager, you'll own the day-to-day execution of Clutch's brand strategy across all touchpoints. This is a highly hands-on role requiring someone who understands what makes a great brand and can translate strategy into action.
Key responsibilities include: managing the agency of record relationship as the primary point of contact, ensuring alignment on brand strategy, creative direction, and deliverables; leading the creative briefing process from ideation through execution, writing briefs and managing production timelines; collaborating with the Real Estate team to ensure retail spaces meet brand standards; participating actively in brand planning sessions; working cross-functionally with Marketing and Social Media teams to ensure consistent execution across channels; championing the brand voice and visual identity across all communications; advocating for best-in-class creative and pushing teams to create healthy creative tension; monitoring industry trends and competitor activity; and tracking campaign performance and brand metrics to inform future planning.
You'll need 4–6 years of brand or marketing experience in a startup, agency, or CPG environment. A bachelor's degree (marketing preferred) is required. You must have experience managing agency or vendor relationships and holding external partners accountable. You're highly organized, comfortable in fast-paced environments, a self-starter who takes ownership, and eager to help build Canada's next household name.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; agency and/or in-house brand team experience; and startup or high-growth environment exposure.
