Figma is seeking a Brand Designer to join the Brand Studio and lead web design for the company's marketing websites. This role sits at the intersection of web design, software storytelling, and brand, requiring expert visual and UX instincts paired with deep curiosity about Figma's products. You will own and drive best-in-class UX and visual design across Figma's marketing websites from concept through prototype and production. You'll tell Figma's software story on the web in compelling, inventive ways—showing what the products can do, not just telling. Working closely with Product Marketing and Content Strategy, you'll prototype and develop new web patterns and interactions that move beyond standard SaaS conventions, partnering with web engineers to bring them to life. Key responsibilities include designing brand-forward web experiences for launches, campaigns, and events that feel novel and unexpected while remaining accessible and performant. You'll shape site structure, information architecture, and navigation to serve customer needs and bring content strategy to life. You'll also evolve and contribute to the web design system, including templates and components that help the team ship quality work at speed. Additionally, you'll share learnings, experiments, and techniques with the Brand Studio and partners to raise the bar across the organization. This is a full-time role that can be held from one of Figma's US hubs (San Francisco or New York) or remotely within the United States. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years designing websites, with a portfolio demonstrating creative range, strong visual, interaction, and typographic craft, and a clear point of view on telling software stories on the web - Fluent in designing, prototyping, and building with Figma; curious about new design, build, and AI tools with clear opinions on how and when to use them - Strong systems thinking grounded in information architecture, UX and accessibility best practices; experience contributing to and evolving design systems and templates - Experience using research and data to run experiments and drive decisions - Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive concepts from start to finish independently, partnering closely with design, copy, strategy, engineering, product marketing, and growth teams
