- Partner with copywriters, designers, motion designers, strategists, and producers to build narrative-driven assets across launches
- Help evolve Figma's visual storytelling system and apply it consistently
- Own visual direction on launch storytelling projects from early concepting to final delivery
- Push new visual formats and directions; don't just execute the existing playbook
Ideal candidates will have:
- A portfolio showing strong visual point-of-view carried through to finished execution across mediums, with examples of styleframes, storyboards, and concepting
- Background distilling business or strategy briefs down to single compelling ideas and driving them forward into execution
- Experience collaborating with motion designers, production teams, product marketing teams, and product design teams
- Strong sense of composition, color, and pacing, especially in motion contexts, used in service of clarity
- Proficiency in Figma (After Effects a plus)
Added pluses include ability to create basic animations or motion tests independently, interest in researching new tools and workflows, experience with product launch films or explainer videos, and ability to translate strategic complexity into compelling narratives.
