Notion is seeking a Brand Designer to join its Creative Studio in New York City. This role is hybrid with anchor days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
You'll lead high-impact brand initiatives and campaigns, owning the work from early strategy through final execution. You'll partner closely with stakeholders and executives to set direction, raise the bar for craft and systems, and define approaches that resolve ambiguity and influence both project outcomes and team processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Concepting, art directing, and designing high-visibility moments from brand campaigns, product launches, and events, developing scalable approaches across multiple surfaces, moments, and channels
- Contributing to brand systems and developing standards and tooling that improve velocity and consistency across the team
- Mentoring and raising the bar for other designers and creative partners through feedback, critique, and repeatable patterns
You'll bring 10+ years of experience in agency or in-house environments, with demonstrated leadership on ambiguous, complex, high-impact work. Your portfolio should showcase culturally resonant and visually diverse work across many channels. You have a deep commitment to systems thinking, typographic excellence, and attention to detail.
You're experienced collaborating with illustrators, animators, copywriters, filmmakers, photographers, and other makers. You excel at cross-functional partnership, driving alignment, and making pragmatic tradeoffs. You have a tinkerer's mindset and are curious about evolving tools and how AI can expand creative expression and drive production. You'll actively experiment with new AI workflows to concept, prototype, and push design systems further.
Notion is a collaborative AI workspace where millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work. The company is building the future of work where knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side.
