Clerk is a developer infrastructure company solving the user identity layer for modern web applications. The company provides full-stack React components and APIs that enable developers to build authentication, organization management, and billing flows without reinventing complex infrastructure.
You'll join Clerk's Design team as a Senior Brand Designer, owning and upleveling the Clerk brand across all touchpoints. Your responsibilities include leading creative direction and design for brand assets, brand identity, the company website, and product launches. You'll collaborate closely with Visual Designers, UI Engineers, animators, and Product Designers to create an elevated, cohesive brand identity that resonates in the developer tools space.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead creative direction and personally ship brand assets including brand identity, website, and product launches
- Collaborate cross-functionally with UI engineers, animators, and product designers to create scalable brand experiences
- Bring innovative approaches to brand design, using new techniques to create digital experiences and scalable tools
- Maintain pixel-perfect quality standards, working closely with a world-class UI Engineering team to bring Figma designs to production
- Expand and elevate Clerk's design culture, visual language, asset library, brand design system, and design processes
You're a Senior+ level Brand or Visual Designer with experience in developer tools, AI, or infrastructure brands. You have deep technical fluency with interactive web software design and ideally some front-end coding capability. You work iteratively with a "ship and iterate" mentality, thrive in startup environments, and are a self-starter who owns your time and proactively identifies problems to solve. You must be located in the Americas, within ±3 hours of U.S. Mountain Time (UTC−06:00).
