Ambrook is a Series B fintech startup rebuilding financial infrastructure for American family-run businesses. The company helps independent operators in agriculture, manufacturing, and other real-economy sectors gain financial clarity and access capital through modern accounting, banking, and spending tools.
You'll join the Brand team as a Senior Brand Designer, reporting to Creative Director Ali Aas. This is a hands-on role with significant creative ownership and cross-functional influence. You'll shape brand narrative and craft across multiple mediums—from digital (website, email, campaigns) to physical (print, merchandise, environmental design, zines, newspapers).
Key responsibilities include: developing brand narratives in collaboration with product and marketing teams; creating and directing brand expressions across form factors; building Claude Skills and templates that scale the team's output; evolving the brand strategy; directing external creatives (illustrators, photographers, printers); and maintaining Figma libraries and brand systems.
You'll work in a design-forward culture where one co-founder is a designer, Designer Fund is on the cap table, and the creative director has been in place since Series A. The team is actively exploring how AI (particularly Claude) can augment brand work, automating busywork while preserving human craft and judgment.
The role requires 4+ years of brand design experience, mastery of Figma (auto layout, components, design systems, Motion), fluency across both digital and print production, strong project management, and comfort with ambiguity. You should be a builder who ships work end-to-end—from concept through CMS implementation, vendor management, or code integration. Experience with AI tools and motion design is valued.
