Salary: GBP 75,000 - 200,000 / annual
Axle Energy is building software infrastructure for the decarbonized energy system, controlling hundreds of thousands of energy assets including vehicle charging, heating systems, and home batteries. You'll lead commercial operations and drive scaling across new markets and customer segments. This is a wide-ranging role requiring speed and ownership across diverse topics. Key responsibilities include: entering new markets through research, analysis, planning and delivery; helping new and existing clients maximize value from the software platform; exploring and executing growth opportunities in new verticals and customer segments.
This is a high-velocity, high-impact position. You'll need to learn quickly, absorb and process technical information, work strongly with data, and maintain a 'run through walls' attitude to overcome barriers. The role offers direct exposure to shaping energy markets and accelerating the low-carbon transition.
Compensation includes base salary (£75k–£200k range) plus meaningful equity. The company operates with a deliberately flat structure and equitable pay philosophy (1:1 median founder-to-team ratio).
