EVERSANA is seeking a detail-oriented Billing and Reporting Analyst to manage end-to-end client billing operations and support reporting activities for their life sciences commercialization services business. The role requires strong ownership of billing accuracy, adherence to deadlines, and effective cross-functional coordination.
Key responsibilities include: generating accurate and timely client invoices in accordance with contractual terms and billing schedules; maintaining, validating, and updating billing data, rate cards, and contract information within internal systems; reviewing and validating billing inputs to ensure compliance with client-specific requirements and internal policies; managing client-wise billing trackers to monitor progress; performing billing reconciliations and identifying variances; investigating and resolving billing-related queries and discrepancies; preparing and supporting standard and ad hoc billing and financial reports; supporting P&L analysis and revenue tracking; performing variance analysis and providing explanations for key deviations; collaborating with Operations, Finance, and Business teams to resolve dependencies; communicating billing status and updates to stakeholders; and maintaining documentation for audit readiness and compliance.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in client billing and revenue reporting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with complex spreadsheets is essential. A solid understanding of billing/invoicing processes and exposure to revenue tracking and reconciliations is required. Soft skills include strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, diligence, organization, task prioritization, and effective communication. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in commerce or finance (B.Com, BBM/BBA, M.Com, or MBA in Finance), general knowledge of invoicing and revenue processes, experience in finance operations or shared services environments, and exposure to ERP systems.
