Salary: USD 100,000 - 120,000 / annual
Chowbus is a leading Asian restaurant technology SaaS platform serving over 10,000 restaurants across 30+ US states and 100+ key cities. The company has achieved doubled annual growth and is pioneering the North American Asian Restaurant SaaS sector.
You will own Chowbus Go end-to-end—a mobile app companion to the Chowbus POS system that enables restaurant owners and managers to monitor business performance, receive alerts, and take action remotely. This is a strategic product leadership role where you will drive the full product development lifecycle from discovery through design, build, launch, and iteration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the Chowbus Go roadmap and priorities, with engagement metrics (DAU/WAU, weekly active restaurants) as your north star
- Driving the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through design, build, launch, and iteration
- Leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and QA in China to plan, build, and ship high-quality releases in alignment with peer product managers
- Defining success metrics and instrumentation, using adoption, retention, and efficiency data to inform prioritization
- Building a standing feedback loop with US sales, customer success, and onboarding teams; visiting restaurants to understand how owners operate their businesses
- Over time, owning integrations with third-party systems (inventory, reservations, reviews), including scoping, API-level design, launch, and documentation standards
You will be the product team's presence in the US market, close to merchants, sales, and customer success teams. Occasional visits to merchant locations and extended hours may be required depending on business needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS
- Proven track record owning a customer-facing management product end-to-end (merchant portal, admin app, or customer dashboard) from definition through launch and iteration; mobile experience is a plus
- Data-driven mindset: define adoption and retention metrics, get them instrumented, and use data to drive prioritization
- Technical fluency with APIs and system integrations; ability to collaborate effectively with internal and partner engineering teams
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken); able to collaborate effectively across time zones with teams in the US and China
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in restaurant or retail SaaS, or with POS products
- Experience building or growing an open platform, partner API program, or integration marketplace
- Familiarity with the Asian restaurant community in North America
