AccuRx is a digital health platform solving healthcare productivity for the NHS. The company has built an all-in-one toolkit used by 98% of GP practices, featuring Total Triage for patient demand management, Self-Book for appointment scheduling, Patient Questionnaires for long-term condition management, Accumail for cross-care staff communication, and Accurx Scribe, an AI-powered note-taking tool. The Bid Lead will be the strategic owner of AccuRx's primary care bid portfolio, responsible for driving the company's response to a major wave of 36 ICB (Integrated Care Board) tenders expected from January 2027. This is a leadership role that combines capture strategy, bid management, and frameworks expertise. Key responsibilities include: - Shape primary care opportunities 6–12 months before tender release by building account insight, influencing early engagement with ICBs, and developing distinctive win themes based on customer needs. - Lead qualification and go/no-go decisions, synthesizing NHS priorities, ICB requirements, AccuRx strategy, and commercial considerations into clear winning strategies. - Own multiple complex bids end-to-end, from kick-off through submission, presentations, and handover. This includes building and motivating cross-functional teams, managing plans, governance, risks, and deadlines while keeping stakeholders informed. - Develop compelling bid responses by setting win themes, key messages, and evidence. Work closely with the Bid Writer/Manager to lead quality reviews and ensure submissions are compelling, compliant, and commercially sound. - Build a reusable primary care win strategy and evidence base that can be tailored to each ICB's population, priorities, and existing use of AccuRx. Translate developments in primary care policy, commissioning, and digital transformation into stronger bids. - Continuously improve bid processes by incorporating feedback from wins and losses, strengthening the company's position on primary care digital services frameworks, and thoughtfully applying AI tools to enhance capture and bid effectiveness. Requirements: - APMP certification (Foundation or above) and/or equivalent proven bid expertise, with extensive experience leading multiple complex, high-value public sector tenders simultaneously. - Demonstrated experience in capture and pursuit management, with a track record of shaping opportunities before release, uncovering customer drivers, and translating insight into clear pursuit and win strategies. - Excellent writing and review skills; ability to turn complex requirements, evidence, and customer needs into compelling responses that exceed evaluation criteria and deliver high-quality, compliant submissions. - Confident leadership through influence; ability to coordinate large cross-functional teams to tight deadlines, manage competing priorities and risks, and navigate difficult conversations. - Detail-oriented with strong working knowledge of public procurement, including the Procurement Act 2023, the Social Value Model, and frameworks. - Understanding of clinical systems and workflows; ability to clearly explain how technology integrates into clinical practice. Specific knowledge of how AccuRx works with GP clinical systems (EMIS, SystmOne) and fits into practice and PCN workflows, including integration and hosting. - Ideally, prior experience bidding into NHS primary care, ICBs, or CSUs; understanding of general practice and PCN operations; and knowledge of how digital primary care is commissioned. Experience leading bids for SaaS or digital transformation solutions is a strong advantage.
