Payoneer is seeking a Banking Network Specialist to support its cross-border payments operations in Guangzhou. This role bridges compliance, network operations, and partner management for Payoneer's payment infrastructure serving customers across 190+ countries.
You will manage four key areas: (1) Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Support—handling compliance cases, preparing materials for regulatory inspections and audits, and assessing the impact of SAFE and PBOC requirements on business processes; (2) Network Rules & Configuration Management—maintaining business rules, routing logic, and configurations across the payment network, tracking regulatory and partner bank changes, and translating requirements into system configurations with product and engineering teams; (3) Transaction Performance Tracking & Issue Resolution—monitoring network and channel performance metrics (success rates, failure reasons, settlement times), analyzing transaction data for issues and optimization opportunities, and coordinating resolution of payment failures; (4) Partner Communication & Service Management—maintaining daily communication with PSPs, partner banks, and clearing networks, tracking SLA performance and action plans.
You bring 5+ years of experience in cross-border payments, third-party payments, bank clearing, or financial institutions, with preferred experience in payment networks, banking channels, PSP cooperation, or transaction processing. You have deep familiarity with China's cross-border payment business and regulatory framework (SAFE/PBOC requirements). You excel at data analysis and problem-solving, identifying trends and optimization opportunities from transaction data. You are detail-oriented, collaborative across functions (product, engineering, compliance, operations, external partners), and fluent in both Chinese and English. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience at a licensed payment institution or bank, supporting regulatory inspections/audits, or familiarity with CUP, NUCC, or cross-border clearing networks.
