WelbeHealth is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Home Care to lead strategy, operations, quality, compliance, and performance across multiple home care markets and sites. This is a senior executive role accountable for ensuring high-quality, participant-centered care while building scalable operations that support organizational growth.
You will provide executive leadership across multiple home care sites, setting strategic direction and overseeing execution of short- and long-range operational plans. Key responsibilities include leading regional and market-level home care leaders (directors, managers, department heads) through coaching, performance management, and leadership development. You will oversee multi-site operations including staffing models, labor optimization, scheduling, vendor management, service capacity, and escalation protocols.
Operationally, you will establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and operating rhythms to track performance against quality, service, utilization, compliance, and financial goals. You will drive enterprise budgeting, resource planning, forecasting, and execution of strategic initiatives that improve scalability and participant experience. You will ensure effective implementation of participant care plans in collaboration with providers, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams, overseeing care delivery and outcomes to support aging in place.
Compliance and quality are critical: you will provide executive oversight of the home care quality management system, including audits, corrective action planning, and continuous improvement. You will ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, PACE requirements, and company policies, and oversee preparation for regulatory audits and state surveys.
Required: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing administration, business administration, or related field; 7–10 years of progressive leadership in health services administration, home care, home health, PACE, or related programs (multi-site experience strongly preferred); 5+ years of people leadership with demonstrated success mentoring distributed teams; strong operational and financial acumen (budgeting, workforce planning, productivity management); deep knowledge of home care operations, care coordination, regulatory compliance, and quality management; experience in data-driven decision-making; excellent executive leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. Master's degree and clinical licensure preferred.
