Salary: USD 70,000 - 100,000 / annual
Efficient is developing breakthrough energy-efficient general-purpose computer processors that enable AI/ML applications on edge devices with unprecedented power efficiency—running AI continuously on AA batteries for 5-10 years. The company is building processor and compiler technology that redefines what's possible for edge AI and embedded computing.
You'll join the HR and Recruiting team as an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner, reporting to the Head of People Ops with mentorship from the Senior TA Partner. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, Pittsburgh, or San Jose, designed for someone with 2–3 years of recruiting or HR experience in the semiconductor industry who wants to grow their recruiting skills in a fast-paced, high-growth startup.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the talent acquisition team to recruit for specialized semiconductor, AI hardware, software, and business roles
- Managing recruiting activity, interview coordination, and candidate pipelines in Greenhouse
- Conducting phone screens to assess candidate fit for roles and culture
- Using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to build talent pipelines
- Delivering exceptional candidate experience from outreach through onboarding
- Supporting new hire onboarding and other HR initiatives
- Helping improve recruiting processes and employer branding
You should bring fundamental knowledge of semiconductor organizations and engineering functions, hands-on experience with Greenhouse ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple searches in a startup environment. Experience recruiting for specialized technical roles (AI, computer architecture, ASIC/SoC, RTL, Physical Design, Verification, Compiler, Embedded Software) and supporting People Operations activities is a plus.
Compensation is competitive, ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 based on experience and location, plus meaningful equity and comprehensive benefits including 401K match, company-paid benefits, paid parental leave, and flexibility.
