Salary: USD 96,876 - 127,149 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Strategic Finance to join its FP&A team, supporting financial planning, analytics, and business insights across Corporate, Operations, and Technology divisions. In this role, you will partner with Finance leaders on business reviews, full-year projections, and strategic initiatives. You'll create new reporting and analytical frameworks to provide visibility into business spending patterns, profitability drivers, and membership trends, presenting findings to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include crafting data-driven recommendations for pricing and growth decisions; building models and tooling for competitive intelligence and scenario analysis; collaborating with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design, and Sales teams on portfolio strategy; identifying profitability tradeoffs and market trends; sourcing and analyzing data to support strategic programs; monitoring ACA landscape metrics; and reporting intra-year membership analytics to track business health.
You will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Corporate Development. This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in Dallas, TX, though future hybrid arrangements at the Dallas hub may evolve.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or equivalent work experience; 4+ years of finance experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance, or Financial Services; 2+ years proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or Microsoft Office; 2+ years working with C-level executives. Bonus qualifications include MBA in Finance, MS in Financial Analysis, managed care/healthcare/insurance experience, SQL/BigQuery proficiency, and NetSuite/Adaptive expertise.
