Anduril Industries is seeking an Associate Program Director for its Connected Warfare division to lead strategic engagement with U.S. Marine Corps programs. This role owns senior leader relationships within key USMC initiatives and drives rapid fielding of emerging command, control, communications, and intelligence (C4I) technologies.
You will shape product strategy for USMC Command and Control programs by translating operational concepts into technical requirements and actionable solutions. Working at the intersection of military doctrine and advanced technology, you'll engage with acquisition stakeholders, program offices, and operational units to identify high-priority challenges and position Anduril capabilities to address them.
Key responsibilities include: driving product strategy aligned with operational impact and technical feasibility; providing insights to business development and USMC stakeholders to shape requirements; coordinating across Anduril teams and business lines to deliver unified solutions; translating operational doctrine into technical requirements for engineering teams; and developing training materials and operational playbooks for USMC end-users.
You'll embed with Marines during exercises and demonstrations, collaborate with technical engineering teams, and coordinate across the Department of War to ensure integrated capability delivery. Success requires translating complex technical principles into compelling operational outcomes while maintaining high integrity in stakeholder relationships.
Required: Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent defense program management experience); 12-15+ years managing complex technical programs in defense/national security; strong understanding of Marine Corps C2 systems and warfighting functions; proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments; experience with business development and DoW stakeholder engagement; exceptional communication skills bridging technical and operational communities; willingness to travel up to 50% including field work with military units; Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
Preferred: USMC experience or deep Navy familiarity; Command and Staff or War College graduate; JADC2 or Joint Force integration experience; software development or systems engineering background; multi-service program coordination experience.
