Salary: USD 87,188 - 114,434 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Process Optimization to join the Eligibility and Billing team. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing operational processes and improvements to support organizational goals. You will work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to represent departmental needs in company-wide strategic initiatives and solve business problems related to internal processes. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, and on-time delivery. You will evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics, and assist in developing departmental metrics and mitigation strategies. The role requires collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders to formulate proactive implementation, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation. You will also mentor team members and promote colleagues' professional development. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of commensurate experience, 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting, and 2+ years using data software such as Excel, SQL, or Python. You must have 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience, 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying operating and technical procedures, and 2+ years with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints. Bonus qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher, and working knowledge of Enrollment and Billing. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Process Improvement and is based in the Tempe, Arizona office with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in-office per week, with Thursdays mandatory for team meetings and events.
