Salary: USD 85,000 - 100,000 / annual

As a People Operations Associate, you will be hands-on in executing across multiple functional areas of HR including culture & engagement, onboarding, employee experience, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, compliance, and office management. You will report to the Director, People Operations and contribute meaningfully to the HR team while helping drive company performance through a people-first approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing payroll and benefits functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Partnering with internal teams (Finance, IT) and external vendors to optimize HR processes
- Participating in performance, promotion, and compensation review processes
- Collaborating with recruiting on candidate-to-employee onboarding experiences
- Working with external counsel on HR compliance for hiring and terminations
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies aligned with company culture and business needs
- Engaging with employees on employee relations matters and cultural initiatives
- Researching and benchmarking compensation, benefits, and perks
- Managing physical office space, including work orders, supplies, and administrative tasks
- Planning and supporting team events, happy hours, and holiday celebrations
Requirements:
- True HR generalist experience with 3+ years in various HR functional areas (recruiting experience a plus)
- Bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge of People Operations areas including hiring, terminations, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits (Rippling experience a strong plus)
- Ability to support office management and event planning
- Flexible, metric-driven, and process-oriented mindset
- Confidence to collaborate and challenge stakeholders appropriately
- Comfortable in dynamic, entrepreneurial startup environments
- High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate challenging topics with tact
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
