Salary: USD 87,188 - 127,149 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Network Contracting & Services to manage healthcare provider contracts across the Northeast region (NJ, NY, PA, VA). This role sits within Oscar's Network Contracting & Services team and reports to a Manager. You will be responsible for building and maintaining Oscar's robust provider network by negotiating contracts with hospitals, health systems, and individual provider groups. Key responsibilities include implementing contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy and cost management objectives; managing and negotiating provider contracts with favorable terms and regulatory compliance; conducting comprehensive reviews and analyses of provider contracts to identify optimization opportunities; leveraging data and analytics on provider financials and competitor strategies to inform negotiations; meeting defined metrics and SLAs for provider outreach and contract completion; collaborating with provider services teams on network education and communication; and monitoring assigned networks for compliance with standards. The role requires 3+ years of healthcare client management, consulting, provider contracting, or healthcare operations experience; 2+ years supporting provider network strategy and contract negotiation; 1+ years running financial analyses on markets or product lines; and 1+ years organizing large datasets like claims and provider rosters. An Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience is a bonus. This is a field-based remote position with up to 25% travel for client meetings and occasional team events. You'll work from your home office with flexibility across the Northeast region.
