Salary: USD 93,600 - 122,850 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Member and Provider Optimization to join the Member Provider Service Optimization team. This role is responsible for cross-functional collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to drive process optimization and operational improvements aligned with organizational goals.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects, from planning through completion. You will evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics to support decision-making. The role requires collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop proactive implementation, communication, and program strategies for change management and risk mitigation.
You will mentor team members and support their professional development while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position requires strong project management capabilities, data analysis skills, and experience with process improvement methodologies.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience, 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting, and 2+ years each in data software tools (Excel, SQL, Python), end-to-end project management, workflow design and improvement, and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints). Bonus qualifications include a degree in Engineering or Business Administration and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
The position is based in the New York City office with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in-office per week, with Thursdays mandatory for team meetings and events.
