Salary: USD 84,240 - 101,565 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Member and Provider Optimization to join the Member Provider Service Optimization team. This role is central to driving operational excellence across the organization through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven process improvement.
You will lead end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects, including creating project plans, engaging stakeholders, managing relationships to drive collaboration, mitigating edge cases, and ensuring on-time completion. A key responsibility is evaluating departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics, then assisting in developing departmental metrics and implementing mitigation strategies.
You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholder groups to formulate proactive implementation, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation initiatives. The role includes mentoring team members and promoting colleagues' professional development.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of commensurate experience, 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting, 2+ years using data software (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools), 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience, 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying operating and technical procedures, and 2+ years with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints).
Bonus qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher. The position reports to the Associate Director, MPSO - Optimization, and requires a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office per week (Thursdays mandatory).
